ଋଷି କପୁରଙ୍କ ପରଲୋକରେ ଭାରତୀୟ ସିନେମାରେ ଏକ ବଡ କ୍ଷତି ବୋଲି କହିବା ସହ ରାଜ୍ୟପାଳ ଟ୍ୱିଟ୍ରେ ଲେଖିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, ‘ସୁପରଷ୍ଟାର ଋଷି କପୁରଙ୍କ ଅଚାନକ ଏପରି ମୃତ୍ୟୁରେ ମୁଁ ଗଭୀର ଦୁଃଖିତ । ତାଙ୍କ ନିଖୁଣ ଅଭିନୟ ପାଇଁ ସେ ସବୁ ବେଳେ ମନେ ରହିବେ । ’

ସେହିପରି ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ନବୀନ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ ଟ୍ୱିଟରେ ଲେଖିଛନ୍ତି ଯେ, ‘ଋଷି କପୁରଙ୍କ ପରଲୋକରେ ମୁଁ ଦୁଃଖିତ । ଭାରତୀୟ ସିନେମା ଜଣେ ମହାନ ଅଭିନେତାଙ୍କୁ ହରାଇଲା । ଅନେକ ଫିଲ୍ମରେ ଅଭିନୟ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ସେ ନିଜର ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ଛାପ ଛାଡି ଯାଇଛନ୍ତି । ପରିବାର, ସମ୍ପର୍କୀୟ ଓ ଫ୍ୟାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ସମବେଦନା । ’
